Fall is nigh!

Kaleido Petals

I love these dainty little floral artwork. I purchased it a few years ago and thrilled to finally get them digitized. To me they evoke a Spring time feeling. I sewed these on the corner of dinner napkins. We don’t use paper products (allergy) so we use dinner napkins with every meal. So I will get to enjoy these regularly.

I also added a border and corner for each design for your convenience should you wish to do more with them. I plan to sew the borders on pillowcase hems and finish off the edge into scallops that follow the shape of the design.

Kaleido Petals Embroidery Details
(inches and millimeters)

Each of these embroidery designs look to be only three or four colors. That is how I sewed them as well. However, when making these I realized you may want different colors and combination of colors than what I selected. So I added similar thread color stops so you can stop and change the thread color if you wish to do so.

Jump stitches are unavoidable in designs of this type, however there is no need to trim them with these designs until after each color stop has sewn - whether you are changing threads or not.
