Insertion Lace Beginnings

An Insertion Lace Machine Embroidery Series

The layout shown above is stitched around the insertion lace area with a wing needle.

“Insertion Lace - Beginings” is an heirloom technique that can be stitched on most fabrics.  The designs require fabric, water soluble stabilizer, and an optional wing needle

These designs compliment my other Heirloom designs - “Insertion Lace Hearts” and “Insertion Lace Diamonds”

Ribbon can be woven into the lacey areas as shown here (click).
