Double Wedding Ring Floral Fill

My Double Wedding Ring Quilt

Double Wedding Ring - A Perennial Favorite

These arcs are filled with an open floral pattern sewn in all one color.

This is a ‘Quick to Make’ Double Wedding Ring.

Sew the designs, cut out the squares, sew the squares together.

Once the quilt was assembled and quilted, colorful rick rack was added around the border.

Let’s take a look at what others have done...

Barbara’s Quilt

I love this arrangement of a queen-size quilt.

Mary’s Baby DWR

Mary writes “Attached is a picture of a baby quilt that I made using DWR.  It turned out really cute and I plan on giving it to my nephew whose wife is expecting.  It is such a pretty design and I thank you for it. I fell in love with that pattern and just think it is beautiful and so elegant.  I plan on making another one some time down the road.”

Thelma’s DWR Quilts

Thelma writes: “About a year ago I purchased you Double wedding ring pattern, I have attached two pictures of the 3 quilts that came from it. Liked it so much just keep making squares. Thanks I love your patterns.”

The center quilt is full-size. The other two are twin-size. Wow!

Connie Berries DWR

Connie writes, “I have done a few of your designs and love them. Last year I did the DWR in rainbow colors for a chairty and it raised $450!”

Four-hundred and fifty bucks!

More Layouts

If you thought that’s all there is, then you thought wrong. Compliments of Electric Quilt, I created just a few more layout ideas with which to stir my imagination...and hopefully yours. Regrettably, I could not explore what happens when using varigated threads. Should you feel up to the challenge, could you send me pictures?

Tone-on-tone lacy look

Wait! I’m not finished. Double Wedding Ring isn’t just for making quilts.

Wait! There’s even more!

I used my Electric Quilt to create some combination layouts with my other collections and boy-oh-boy! But my hubby’s calling me to supper and I don’t want it to eat it cold...unless it’s a salad.

Psst! Check out my 8-Point Star page for some more ideas, by me and others.
