Double Wedding Ring Floral Fill

Double Wedding Ring - A Perennial Favorite
These arcs are filled with an open floral pattern sewn in all one color.

This is a ‘Quick to Make’ Double Wedding Ring.
Sew the designs, cut out the squares, sew the squares together.

Once the quilt was assembled and quilted, colorful rick rack was added around the border.


Rainbow Double Wedding Ring Layout

There are 36 blocks in this quilt.
Black fabric – Kona Cotton

Quilt Dimensions:

  • 42 inches square made with 6x10 design
  • 30 inches square made with 5x7 design
  • 24 inches square made with 4x4 design

Floral Fill

    When ordering, be sure to order designs that will fit in your sewing machine hoop. As with any software, refunds and exchanges will not be made for designs purchased that are not appropriate for your machine.

Sewing Machine Formats

4x4 (100x100mm)

    This arc is 5½ inches point to point creating a 3¾  inch quilt square.














5x7 (125x175mm)

    This arc is 6¾ inches point to point, creating a 4¾ inch quilt square.

6x10 (150x250mm)

    This arc is 9½ inches point to point creating a 7 inch quilt square.

    This is the size you want to use for a larger bed quilt.

I recommend size-12 topstitch needles for stitching my Double Wedding Ring Floral Fill designs.

The EQ6 file contains Laura’s quarter 8 Point Star block, all 3 NYB blocks, and DWR block. (Sorry the NYB blocks are not available in the EQ5 File.)
Use them to create layouts  and color combinations to your hearts content.
